Service Description: The layer in this map describes the elevation of the imaginary surfaces that limit building heights around the College Park Airport. The layer is a mesh of polygons, each one containing an imaginary surface height, a ground elevation, and the difference between the two. This difference represents the maximum height a structure can be without penetrating the imaginary surface and therefore obstructing air navigation. All elevation measurements are approximate.

Title: College Park Airport Imaginary Surfaces
Author: Kerry Gathers
Comments: The layers in this map describes the elevation of the imaginary surfaces that limit structure heights around the College Park Airport. A generalized layer, which is designed to be displayed at small scales, shows the surfaces' elevation in five-foot ranges. A more precise layer, designed to be displayed at larger scales, shows the surfaces' elevation within one foot. This more prescise layer is a mesh of polygons, each one containing an imaginary surface height, a ground elevation, and the difference between the two. This difference represents the maximum height a structure can be without penetrating the imaginary surface and therefore obstructing air navigation. All elevation measurements are approximate.
Subject: This map contains two feature classes describing the imaginary surfaces surrounding the College Park Airport.
